Once the light is off and I'm asleep I wouldn't know if sheets etc. had been ironed  ;)

I am the same.  If it doesn't show or is not seen by anyone else it doesn't get ironed.  I have cultivated a clean and creased look.  Hubby does his own ironing as I cannot handle the weight of it and the movement back and forth  ::)  Mum used to iron bedding, tea towels, pants and socks, hankies, but I think that generation were more houseproud altogether.

Southern Ireland for us this year.   Not cities - countryside B&B's, folk-music pubs, meeting people etc.   Aaah!  :)

My son is on holiday in Ireland this week.
He flew in this morning and has visited the Giants Causeway and went across the longest rope bridge. He sent me a few photos. I don't like heights but the views are tremendous.
He is going into Southern Ireland tomorrow. A bit of a road trip I think with a pint of Guiness at the end of the day.

I'm from Ireland and I know you will have a wonderful holiday.  West Cork is hard to beat as is Galway.

Did DS enjoy Ireland Mrs Brown?  I think that we would as well as the Isle of Man but it means leaving the mainland  :-\

LOVE Northumberland.  Our calendar is soooo busy with days out, dental appts., garage appts., that we haven't 3 days to run together in order to go anywhere  ::)

Why garage appointments CLKD is there something wrong with the new car ?

Yes he loved Ireland, he has been lots of times before but always on business trips. They did loads of different tourist stuff and we all got daft gifts.

We are off up north in a few weeks time. I'm really looking forward to this week as my holiday cottage looks great and I love the area. Not sure what we will do in the Autumn, haven't decided quite yet.

Days out are great CLKD.....enjoy.

Hexham; Hadrian's Wall; Bamburgh, Warworth, Anlwick Castels; NT properties; Craster for crabs and the walk to Dunstenburgh Castle/back.  I could go on  ;D

Camper needed MOT recently, also needs a habitation check soon but getting it done locally this year rather than Yorkshire; new car OK so far ;-).

Will be visiting Mum for a few days but she doesn't know yet.  Leamington Spa and Warwick soon for a day and I want to go to the Arboretum and the Richard III exhibition.

Why not overnight stays. Has it become too stressful for you.

I just hope my weather is good which is by no means certain in Scotland  ::)

No time, we have to fit days-out with other appt.s - plus the various Pro-cycling on TV and the 'local' Pro-cycling events due to take part and the fact that it's too cold to wander from 'van to shower block and back  :D in rain/hail/snow/gales .........  ;)
