Has anyone been watching “The Cruise”, featuring the Virgin ship?! Oh dear Lord, you could not pay me to go on that. It’s like Magaluf at sea (and it ain’t cheap!)……
Passengers are know as “sailors” or “rock stars” depending on cabin grade!  :o
We’re having a cheeky week cruising the canaries in 4 weeks time and I can safely say it’s not on the Valiant Lady!!
Have been practicing my version of Celine Dion’s “My Heart Will Go On” to frighten the bejesus out of my fellow passengers ………joking!

I watched the first few episodes but omg, what the hell has cruising come to? It looked like a 18 -30 p**s up in Benidorm, think I'll stick to Cunard, the old style cruising.
Have you and your hubby done the "Jack,Jack" whilst holding your arms out songbird?😆 I definitely have, many times  ;D

I hate ostentation, those modern cruise ships are certainly OTT!  with passenger prices to match.  Same with hotels - I like cosy and homely, not too much bling.  Years ago we stayed in a guest house which had really dark patterned paper as well as 'collectable' plates hung everywhere!   ::)

The bathroom is the most important place, if it ain't 'right' it aint for me ;-)

;D. He’s a wee stick in the mud, Jaypo. He won’t do the “arms out flying”  >:(..I’ll just have to grab the Captain and see if he’ll oblige and play the “Jack” part…Ooh, hold on, Captain Jack - Depp again  ;D…..
I must say I don’t like ships that are big and ostentatious- there are still nice, stylish options 👍

Oh blimey if Depp was the captain, I wouldn't care which cruise ship it was I'd be on it 365 days a year  ;D
Cunards new ship looks lovely,a lot more modern than the other Queens but it will still retain the old style cruising.
Aww he MUST do the Jack,I'm flying Jack 😆
Yep,way too OTT for me clkd,if I wanted that,I'd go to Blackpool

I have to say, I do like the look of the Queen Anne, Jaypo.  Need to butter up hubby. Better make a nice sauce for that dodgy pheasant!  ;D

I'm not sure it's so much ostentation on these huge ships,it's more tacky than anything but with the older ships, the atriums especially are stunning, with Cunard it's all wooden, the stairs etc really beautiful.
Yep songbird but it's the pheasant that needs buttered remember, not your hubby, well, unless that's your thing of course, then please carry on  ;D ;D
