Central heating been on for bits of the morning and evening for past month.
Today, we also had woodburner lit in lounge in the afternoon.
It's been a hard day.............

Ours has been set to automatic for a couple of weeks.  If the temperature in the house drops below 18 celcius it kicks in.  Keeps a nice background temperature but I think we will be boosting it soon to 20 degrees  :)

Our boiler doesn't work.  It is due for a service on Tuesday.  Years++ ago we had a new fire-place and this week, lit a fire for the 1st time since.  We are carrying blow heaters between the other rooms  ::)

Ours is on, but since we had a new boiler fitted in May, we have 'Hive' heating control - it means we can control the heating from anywhere we have internet connection!  It's on a combination time clock and thermostat schedule too, so only comes on at certain times if the temperature drops low enough.  It's great!

It's great - I have an app on my phone that lets me check the temperature at home and change the heating settings.  It also sends me a message if I leave the heating on when I leave home, and when I'm coming home, to make sure the settings are right!  So clever.

For the past four days it has been freezing here - 0 to 4 degrees max. We put on our heating on Friday and I am soooo glad we have a local heating that we can manage as we wish.
