May I join in  :-\

About 8 months ago the dishwasher decided not to take the salt from the container so we went without.  On Thursday it did the cycle OK but when we came down in the morning, all the lights were on and it was churning away  ::) - washed, dried but decided to light up like a Chmas tree  ;D

So - any ideas what I ought to buy this time, I can't remember whether this is the 2nd washer we've had  :-\ ……. I think it may be, I believe we had a Zanussi first then the Bosch which has decided to give up …...

How long have you had it CLKD?
My iron decided not to steam anymore, so that went to the tip. Now got a new one with a large water tank and a long lead.

Before redundancy I worked 12 years for a kitchen fitter.  He swore by Miele, all his own appliances were.  Not exactly the cheapest, but if you can afford it he always said the best.

I had a look at dish-washers on-line as you do: well between £200.00 and £900.00 - do the more expensive machines make the food as well  ;D

It's a smart car, so you can tuck it anywhere! No not sorted. DH is taking his car for its mot, so he is going to discuss it then. Hope it's not costly.

So far I've had since August:

a new dishwasher
a new laundry washer
a new laundry 'airer'
a new loo 'soft' close seat and lid
a new as above is required  ::)

Well the smart car passenger is fixed, not overwhelmingly expensive, but then I couldn't open the boot. Later found part of the handle on the ground. DH was able to put it back in place, but not secure, so more repairs. Anyone want a lovely little, cute, but oh so unreliable car? I'm dreaming of an aygo. Perhaps its showing its disapproval!

Oh and DHs car has developed a fault, veers to one side, so he was unable to go to his football match. More expense or scrapping. We'll take our trusty mechanics advice on that one. But it's old and maybe on its way to car heaven? We've more than and our money's worth out of that one.

The oven kept tripping the electricity, when I turned on the heat, but is now fixed.

I'm going to change my car - fed up with paying £290 a year road tax when I still get bumped all over the place from the potholes leading to buckled rims - the car not me of course!
