Female GP's where are they all?
sweatybet:
Hi all, rang the surgery to book a routine appointment, nothing available with the only female gp for the whole of this month. In my area very few female GP's at all. How is it where you are?
Joyce:
Half and half at my surgery, though at one point more female GPs than male. Most of the females are only part time.
CLKD:
We have a few. One left after having her baby and didn't return, she was really helpful over the years ::).
northwest1965:
Have only seem one from our surgery on a home visit. She's been on tv a few times, haven't seem her for ages.
Limpy:
There's two holding one full time position between them.
They are both really good.
There have also been a couple of nice, competent, female trainee GPs on temporary (6 or 12 month) attachments.
