Vagifem Update

That's good Mrs Purple. Thanks!  I know in my posts it probably comes over that my GP is against giving me vagifem, this is because I only put the main points of the conversation on here. Without reciting word for word what is said, it is difficult to get the whole story across.  She is very supportive and I am so pleased she offered the vagifem in the first place as I was in such a mess, unable to leave the house, dog walk or travel. I cannot express what an absolute nightmare it was. Vagifem has changed my life completely.  She is delighted about that but thinks other stuff would be equally as good if not better. As I'm settled with the vagifem I want to stay on it and she didn't try and sway me not to stay on it, she just chatted about the options and why she preferred to move me to estring. Anyway, for the next 3 months I'm OK at least! I suppose the next visit will be more telling!! I might go off her completely!!!

It cant hurt can it ease down gently let your body get used to less

I read again and maybe its just that shes used to giving people certain stuff and when someone comes in with a new demand shes warey i suppose thats a good thing
Ifyou like Vagifem like me dont like the idea of having sumat shoved up inside every 3months
Then keep asking for Vagifem but also get check ups I do
Last one 4 internals one after the other last one feeling my ovaries FROM THE INSIDE EWWW didnt hurt just uncomfy

My GP still thinks that you need a month off every 6 months. Eddie. x

6months on 1 month off
I know of 3 kids born cos of that rule hehehehehe

Lynne888, I am really interested to know how you are progressing and whether you are managing on Vagifem 10 x  twice weekly or have switched to Estring??
