I went into the pub.. it was raining.. came out of the pub it was raining... got home and it was raining.. still raining...

It was not properly dark until after 10 last night. I love the long evenings.

Bright today and hopefully not much rain.

It was very gloomy and dark here because of the rain but still light for quite a long time. Countdown begins to the longest day - just over three weeks. Anyone going to Stonehenge?

Went to Stonehenge many moons ago. Paid a fortune for 4 is us to get in and you didn't see any more than you could from the car park/road.

Avebury stone circle is far superior I reckon - you can have a picnic in the stones.

I have been up to the Stones and touched them when I was in my twenties before it was all fenced off, have the photos and saw the figure that is seen between the Alter Stone.

When the guide was showing us some photos, I said I can see a figure and he said many people see it. Its always stuck in my mind. It is a strange place.

I agree it is very atmospheric but since they fenced it off it's always Avebury where I go to if I want to just "be".

Well, it's chilly, dingey and pouring with rain, but I always think supper tastes so much cosier when it's like this!

It was  dry all day up until half an hour after I started work in the garden. Gritted my teeth and carried on until I had 2 shrubs cut down and chopped into bits and into the wheelie bin. Bin now full. That's the 3rd wheelie bin I have filled in 2 days (mine and 2 neighbours!). Progress.............
