I hope all of you in the storm affected areas stay safe and have no flooding or wind damage.

Rain has stopped here but the sky is a very funny colour.

West coast are to get bad snow. We're missing it, right on east coast, but worse a few miles inland. Stay warm ladies.

Very wild out there. I've just got soaked going from my car to the post office and almost taken out by a flying bin  ;D

My fences are swaying which means broken posts and the gate's been blown off - better put new fences and gate on my Dear Santa list then..

Wild! The wind is stating to ease a little but it is still raining and we have a 'river' running down the road out the front f the house. Every time someone drives too fast through the water it throws what sounds like several gallons against the front room windows. I do wish people would SLOW DOWN. :o

Sounds nasty catdude. I hope it lets up soon.

The second storm is howling outside and should reach it's peak here around midnight. The tree branches are banging on the roof - I think they are saying "let us in. let us in. let us in." - no I haven't been on the wine!!  ;D  The rain is absolutely sheeting down and the cat is desperate for a wee but is too scared to even look outside. I have taken pity on him and put his litter tray down!  The fences are waving and the gate has fallen off. Greenhouse is still intact though!

Hope everyone survived the night.

It's shocking here this morning.  Rain is battering the windows and I am scared to let the dog out in case she is blown away.
Due to calm down later. Can't see if there is any damage as its still pitch black.

Batten down the hatches Honeybun  :)

We survived - fence panels and posts broken, some roof tiles off but not the big ridge ones thank goodness, the garden is waterlogged and covered in little branches, twigs and leaves. Was quite a storm.

I hope that everyone's relatives have either arrived safely or have safe journeys today.

It's just awful out there. No rain but the wind is terrible. It's supposed to calm down a bit but no sign of it yet.

We're getting hammered with strong winds. Thankfully very little snow. Although we had a very heavy snow shower this morning.

Lovely sunshine yesterday, heavy rain at night and early hours and now the sun is shining.  Air is cold though!
