Oh clever word  ;) ....... we are enroute for Luton, Birmingham and Manchester so get lots, high in the sky ........ can sit in our garden guessing where they might be going to  ;D and feeling so glad I'm not up there with them  ::)

Dark.  Another day done - lovely sunset earlier  :-*

I remember lying in garden watching contrails at my mums years ago. Stayed near Glasgow airport, so more traffic. Ah long hazy, crazy days of summer.....

Planes are rare here. We get a few that are destined for Prestwick Airport and I do mean a few.
We have a helicopter that comes over at the same time every day. It's an air sea rescue one and in the summer I wave and they wave back. They fly very very low  ;D
I am sure I would recognise the pilots face.

It's very mild here today. Such a change.

FAB U LUS sunset this evening  :-* after a mainly calm day.  Light chilly breeze when by the lake otherwise a lovely Autumnal day.

Fog fog and more fog. I can hear all the planes going round and round in their holding pattern waiting to get into Heathrow and can't help thinking of all the hundreds of people circling over head - it must be so frustrating!

Holding pattern is a nightmare! You see the airport, well on a clear day anyway, but takes forever to land. We had to do it at Gatwick couple of years ago. It was very bumpy & daughter nearly needed the wee bag. She was green! Turned round & son's GF was just as green!

Last night was the mildest December night for 50 years according to the forecast.

Still mild tonight. Not sure this is what I want for December but at least it's good for the heating bills.

Even up here our bills are benefitting. Around £1 per day for gas & elec. No complaints from me. Mind you when it gets really cold it will be considerably higher, but cheap days will more than make up for them.
