In 1981 when we lived in Wales it went down to -24C!  The snow was so deep we had to walk 8 miles to work/college and back in the evenings for 5-6 days.

In 1963 we skated on The Wash and frozen rivers from end of Feb. through March into April and woke regularly 2 ice formed on the inside of the windows  ;D


Today it's been dull.

A cloudy and cool frosty morning.  The sun is supposed to peek out at some point during the day. So far our winter has been pretty bearable so far.  No snowfall since Christmas Eve and the temps have been around 0 degrees for the most part.

Seasonal.   After very heavy rain for hours earlier in the week, followed by blustery wind for hours ......... sharp frost from a blue sky in bright  :sunny: greets me today  :-*

Good Saturday morning, it's nothing but blue sky but it's cold..brr..-8 degrees C. It's the coldest morning of the winter so far. I'm not complaining because the darn sun is out finally!  :sunny:

CLKD-- Dad is doing ok,(thank you for asking) I saw him yesterday. He's chomping at the bit to get his shot but since there won't be any shipments to Canada this coming week and, not until all long-term care homes and front line workers have been vaccinated in Ontario, he still needs to wait.  His 88th is next month and he said the shot would be the best birthday present. :)
