I've got "Rain: Four Walks in English Weather". Thought I recognised the name from somewhere

Txn.  That'll B the Lake District and North Wales then  .  As well as parts of Scotland.  We walked in all weathers years ago, I've learnt 'better' in recent years  .

I'm reading a lot about those involved with the SOE ........ and how MI6 hated them!

It's East Anglia, Kent, Shropshire and Dartmoor. Don't think North Wales would qualify

   that's my problem living in a country without Borders  as well as not reading the question: we were told to read at least twice B4 answering 

Well East Anglia has less rain than the remainder of the UK.  When it rains/snows it's straight from Russia with nowt to stop it! 

DH has ordered another book about an SOE - once read I will keep them together and sell as a 'set'.

The book isn't about the wettest counties it's about walking on a rainy day in four different counties.

I've long done with walking in the rain - when we went to the Lakes with the  we never had enough towels for her and I also took a blow heater which she would lay in front of, gently blowing her feathers.

I can't read at the moment. Lose interest after ten minutes. No real attention span now but I used to read all of the time. Sad about that

I’m much the same. I find life events saturate & I can’t concentrate to read a book anymore. Feel I’m missing out on any latest authors.

Is there a best way to listen to books wouldn’t mind trying that now ?
