My fave of Michael Jacksons Stumpy.

My happy song is also a carpenters one "Those Good Old Dreams".
It was one I kept hearing on the radio when my then boyfriend, now Hubby, said he was coming home from London 6 months early :)

"Love never dies" by Katherine Jenkins. I will never be able to listen to that song again. Had it played at mums funeral, very powerful.

Happy song for me is, Carpenters - Only Just Begun
We played this at our wedding while we signed the register.

Merry Christmas Darling is another lovely song. My mum bought it for my dad as a Christmas card one year.

Erm, let me think timtam. Do you mean "Knock three times"?  ;D

I remember dancing to it at our school end of year party. The groups name was "Dawn" think his name was Tony Orlando.

Oh yes Morwenna I remember that. At no.1 for weeks wasn't it. I loved it!  My mum used to shout out "not again!" It would be played all day on the radio, then all night on my old record player! [course it wasn't old then]  but then again neither was I  ;)

So different nowadays. Records are lucky if they stay at number one for more than 2/3 weeks.  If you don't get a number 1 single now, it's not worth having. Some of my favourites never reached number 1 years ago.  I only buy albums nowadays.  Just bought the new Coldplay one, it may well be number 1 in the album charts but not sure.

I went to see them at the SECC 3 years ago.  They were absolutely superb!  Was going to order tickets for this tour, but nobody would go with me!  :'( Daughter went with me last time, but she lives too far away now.

Not at £72.25 a ticket.  Can't justify spending that for two hours of entertainment!  Plus I'd have to pay train fares too.  Wasn't nearly so expensive 3 years ago.

you mean that you would have paid it if your daughter was with you but not if you are on your own? Sounds cheaper on your own!! I thought you posted that you wanted to go but because there was nobody to go with you couldn't go.  :-\
