Strange weather

Jelly Baby:
Larky, ha ha that is a lovely picture of your dog, he doesn't look impressed at all!!  ;D ;D :scottie:

CLKD:
PHEW! hot or what!  ::) - been traipsing round open gardens with 100s of other people, lovely ideas but our garden is the best  ;)

Taz2:
I spent yesterday walking along Bempton Cliffs near Flamborough at the RSPB Reserve and the sea breeze was wonderfully cooling - the smell of the bird poo was a bit overpowering at times though  ;D  There was something surreal about watching the gannets gliding around on such a lovely day - for once I enjoyed some summer weather!! We forgot the time though and didn't set off on our journey home of almost 300 miles until 5.30 - the going was a bit slow at times   Now... to work.. unfortunately

Joyce:
Thundery rain, clammy and never had the sunshine. Pants!

Jelly Baby:
I'm watching the tennis on TV right now - it's too hot to be outside. I don't envy the players out there in the 29 degrees heat. Why does the weather go from one extreme to the other in this country? It's rarely consistently pleasant  ??? (although I'm sure it used to be when I was a girl? Maybe that's something to do with the sense of time going slower when you're a child, coupled with more time spent outside?)
