I watched it on 4 OD.  Sort of wish I hadn't.  Had more fun playing doctors and nurses as a child  ::)  Perhaps it is for repressed adults who did not have the benefit of this as a child?  ::)

Yep. RNLI has never been sponsored other than by public subscription.  Have a look-see at a Station when you go to the sea-side, lots of history about brave souls who put their lives at risk for others.  We often go to Cromer for a look round and the story of Grace Darling who lays at Bamburgh always made me think 'how brave'!

Dating in the Nude is on tonight ;-).

Did anyone else watch 'Fixing Dad' on BBC2 last night?  I have never seen a more beautiful, moving and inspiring testament to the power of human endurance and the love between sons and their father.  It was really emotional I thought.

I watched this today - such a heart warming programme. There's an article here for those who haven't watched it http://www.telegraph.co.uk/men/health/meet-the-brothers-who-reversed-their-fathers-diabetes/  What brilliant sons this man has.

Hello ladies.

We watched  'Fixing Dad' as well and really enjoyed it. If I remember correctly the father is getting ready to go into the MRI machine when he makes a joke about drinking ten pints of London Pride beer. It just made me wonder if he also drunk quite a lot and if so that would certainly have contributed to his health problems lol.

Take care ladies.

It does say that heavy drinking was the reason for his first marriage going wrong. He really didn't look as if he weighed twenty stone though. Some people can carry it without you realising quite how overweight they are!

Watched the last episode of " Brief Encounters" last night. Brilliant! I hope they make another series.

For all you fans of "Cold Feet"" there is a new series coming in the Autumn.

That reminds me that I wanted to read an article about the actors but the papers are in the bin now  ::).  I got into that series quite late on so will watch with interest.
