Funny moments

Do you, like me, have times when you find yourself forgetful or doing odd things? I have two:

1: Today the bin men came and I couldn't find my emptied bin. I searched up and down my road but couldn't find the bin with my number on it. This afternoon I went into the garden and realised that last night I had put my bin in the back garden instead of the front garden.
2: About 18 months ago I went into a local shop. Looked around for a while. Stood in the queue and when I got to the checkout the cashier asked me what I wanted. It was only then I realised I hadn't actually picked any shopping up and had no idea what I was there for!

I blame it on the menopause mushy mind! What odd/funny moments do you have to share?

We have several similar threads but I can't remember what we called them  ::)

Have you read 'there's a strange woman in my house' - I bumped it last week  ;)

Someone here posted recently that she'd put on her oven gloves to open the fridge!  ;D

I'm constantly leaving things in odd places, opening the wrong cupboard doors, forgetting how to do things... the other day I forgot how to switch my iPod on. ::)

This morning, I nearly poured orange juice into my coffee, instead of my empty glass..............!   :)

Oh I put hot water into the sugar bowl 2 weeks ago, fortunately the bowl was almost empty  ;D

Yesterday I was looking at a bathroom suite in a store, muttering 'that's a good idea'.  A woman walking by said "I have one exactly like that" ……… pause: "but it doesn't have that on it nor that adaptation" - I couldn't open my gob to say "how exactly is it like this one then?" 'cos I was laughing inside  ::) ……...

Last week I decided to have a read in bed before sleeping - my Kindle was downstairs so I grabbed a book from the shelf instead.  Read the first pages but couldn't understand why the page didn't turn when I tapped it  ::)
