We have oil fired heating - electric controlled.  We have an annual service usually  ::)

....By the way this thread is in the menopause section and wasn't about feeling cold as in the weather and heating but about feeling cold as opposed to hot for medical reason!!!!

I started a thread about feeling bodily cold but couldn't find it - and as this 1 hadn't been contributed too for ages, decided to drop by  ;)

Not only is it dark by 9.00 p.m. I think it's time to put on the heating  :-\

We pulled another duvet over us last night.  Anyone else feeling Wintery  :D

Still daylight up here, not dark until about 10pm.

The one thing that does make me cold is beta blockers. It's a recognised side effect.

Have a look at the patient information leaflet....

I don't get one part of me that's cold it just general.

After an anxiety episode then I'm also cold....and very tired.

well I am still in the spare room with the window open and summer duvet as I still feel far too hot.  Not flushes but my body's thermostat seems to be stuck on 'hot'.

Despite the fire on and radiators ticking in the background my legs are cold from the knees downwards  >:(.  I think that thick socks make my skin feel worse!
