Job interview
honeybun:
I also meant to add I always have taken a nominal amount of dig money from my son. He needed to learn that things cost and I always paid into the house as did my OH.
I saved it up and took us all on treats. Now as he has more money than me and has lived on his own and knows how much things cost he pays in a reasonable amount. Doesn't cover what it costs to feed him though ::)

I agree Honeybun, she will paying some board but what amount will be sorted when we know exactly what she's gettin paid. In all the nerves and excitement of the interview she can't remember what hourly rate she's on or whether she is paid weekly or monthly. She said it was more important to get the job. :)

Really good news Cazza! What job is it? I am blessed with two sons who have a work ethic and one who has a "don't work ethic". Same parents. Same upbringing. Totally different view of the world!

We took a reasonable amount from our son per month, though hubby would have taken more if he'd had his way! It was mainly used to feed him. We did give him the option to buy his own food, but that was too much of a chore for him! :)
Our son, during this time, managed to save a huge amount of money, which paid the deposit on the house he bought last year. Obviously we weren't charging him enough! ;D

It's in I.T mainly Taz but today she has been doing some reception work and dealing with customers on the phone which will boost her confidence which she needs with the phone especially. She said once she got used to it wasn't too bad. The firm seems quite good she's had a laugh and looking forward to tomorrow and especially her first wage next week ;D
