Job interview

(1/5) > >>

CazzaT:
Just had to share the news my daughter got a phone call yesterday evening from a teacher who had got her an interview this morning for an IT job. So after a mad dash she's gone I am now pacing the floor and biting my nails for her as she was so nervous it being her 1st big interview. She has sent so many CVs out and applied for apprenticeships and got no replys yet. She has said she would do anything rather than be stuck at home doing nothing. She as just celebrated her 18th birthday I soooo hope she is lucky today cos this is her ideal job and what a birthday pressy for her.

Hi cazza
Brilliant! Fingers crossed for her.
I was the same a few months ago with my son ,whose also 18,when he went for an interview.
He'd had several interviews and we were hoping someone would just give him a chance.
In April he started an apprenticeship in a finance office. He loves it!
He'd only been there 3 wks when they told him they wanted to keep him permanently. They are putting him on an accountancy course in 6 months time.

Good luck to your daughter.

Good luck to your daughter!  I've got everything crossed that she does well and they like her and give her the job!

Ooh how exciting for her. You will be a nervous mummy this morning. Let us know how it goes. Xx

cubagirl:
Fingers crossed.  I remember how I felt when our son was having interview for job he now has.  He was very naive, but the company liked his personality and offered him the job straight away.
