Thanks Firewalker for the lovely kind, encouraging words.  I love the Henry Ford quote as that is so true.  I dont feel too old in other ways eg dress youngish and have a young outlook on life and love all the make-up counters and keeping hair nice etc. 

We have a good place not too far from us where I can have a good drive around and get the feel of it all again - they say it is like riding a bike - that you never forget once learned.  It's getting my road sense back too.

Anyway, I think I will have a go again so thanks to all of you for giving me the confidence to do it.

You go for that next stage qualification, Firewalker, no reason why you shouldn't.

I work from home so do not have to drive to work which hasnt helped either and hubby is retired.
