Have to stop taking Femoston Conti!

Just an update ladies. 

Period has definitely stopped and so has spotting! 

I hope I am not speaking too soon.............. but so far so good.

Hi everyone.

Having read all the comments here, I feel a little concerned. There is much talk of bleeding after a while on Femoston Conti. However, I started taking it only two weeks ago, and have been bleeding fairly heavily for a week. The enclosed leaflet explains that some 'breakthrough' bleeding is normal, but what exactly does this mean? I am bleeding almost as much as I did when I had periods - and they were pretty heavy.

Hi js-jasmine - welcome to the forum. You will find lots of advice and friendship on here.

You may be one of the women who bleed constantly on continuous progesterone. I had the same problem - although this has now resolved since reaching my late fifties. Do you mind me asking how old you are and how long ago it is since your last period?
